Councilman calls it quits after e-mailing a racist game

Somebody get this man a Bud Light commercial. Georgia Councilman John Dowdy (pictured left) has stepped down. Apparently, he thought it would be a good idea to forward a racist game to co-workers. The game at the center of the scandal is called Border Patrol. Released in 2006, the game labels Mexicans as Mexican Nationalists, Drug Dealers & “Breeders” The goal of the game is to eliminate as many as you can.

 Dowdy is a 10-year veteran of City Council, so who knows how long he has felt this way about these issues and not voiced it. He also left a comment on the game in the email:

THIS IS WAY TOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!! Makes you feel better anyway, I did my part today, I kept a few from coming over!!! GET READY — THEY ARE FAAAST! ! !

When the story came to light, the Kennesaw Councilman was served with a lawsuit. An image from the game is posted below:
